After a year of marriage, I finally made our wedding album!
Me and Zak got married on June 6th, 2017. I was 3 months pregnant (we um, moved up our original wedding date of November 11th, hah) and had a lot of other things I was a little more concerned about than our wedding photos, so I put off making a wedding album for quite a while. About a month ago, I finally got down to making it. Wow, I didn’t realize how important it was for us to have until I physically had it in my hands.
Zak was playing a late show the day it came in the mail. He woke me up at 3am to tell me how much he loved it. He told me he would pay $1,000 to have another one (luckily that price wouldn’t be necessary!). When I decide to not procrastinate again, we will absolutely be ordering an extra one to keep safe and give to our daughter. We’ll probably even get a third copy, since we plan to have another child and want both kiddos to get this heirloom.
If you have an important life event, I cannot recommend getting an album made enough. Looking at things on the computer is great and all, but having something beautiful and tangible is such a special thing. I absolutely cannot wait until Penny is a year old and I get to put together her first photo album.
If you’re considering using my wedding photography services, I have two packages that include an heirloom, lay flat album like ours. I highly recommend choosing a package that includes this keepsake!
