A while back, Zoe and Montana let me in on the down-low that they had been working on a project. A concept, if you will. A blog! I was very excited when they described it to me because I loved their ideas. They’re two of the brightest, wittiest, and just super adorable people that I know.
Zoe and Montana are both strong, incredible, spitfire women, wrapped up in the prettiest packages. Montana is my skincare guru. A while back I asked her for a sunscreen recommendation and she wrote me a list of her top five and descriptions of each. If someone has a top five list of favorite sunscreens… you know they’re serious about skincare. She’s also incredibly well read and frequently says words that I covertly Google the definition of while we talk. And she has a cat named Elon Musk. And Zoe is just a badass. I can’t picture anyone else who could pull of being both in the military AND being a wedding floral and planning expert. She’s super creative and has amazing taste. I have ambitions to make an Austin wedding guide one of these days, and she’s top of my list to interview for a post.
Oh, and did I mention they’re both like, really super pretty?
Anyway, I volunteered to take some pictures for their blog launch. I followed them around downtown Austin and took pictures of them while they were being cute and doing cute things, along with the talented makeup artist Amanda (who I’m shooting with her boyfriend on Friday!). We went to the library, stopped in at Jos Coffee, took some portraits in front of Lamberts, then finished up on the hike and bike trail. It’s nice to branch out and try to shoot in a style that I don’t typically shoot.
