This post is going to have way more photos than I usually add, but 1) I’m obsessed with her red hair and 2) they had so many fun details that I want to talk about! Avery and Ben got married at Canyonwood Ridge in July, and I just love how much of themselves they added into their wedding day. My FAVORITE thing that they did was private vows at their first look. They did a super sweet first look, where they played rock paper scissors to determine who would read their vows first. I love this private vow idea and I’ve never seen another couple do this!

All of the details for the day just seemed to highlight what they wanted in a wedding, not what they thought a wedding should be. They had a very small wedding party, a band for entertainment and BBQ for the meal to highlight Austin, and played the show game and trivia to share some fun facts. Oh, and they had Amy’s Ice Cream! Sidenote: if you love Amy’s, here’s an engagement session featuring a trip to the ice cream shop. I’ve gotten to shoot at Canyonwood Ridge many times now, and it’s always one of my favorite Austin area venues!
