Welcome to my blog! I know blogs aren't as common as they were in the past, but this place is jam packed with wedding recaps and inspiration, engagement session ideas, and a little glimpse into the life of a wedding photographer and mom. I hope you enjoy reading a little and seeing ALL the pretty!
I recently had the pleasure of getting to shoot Michelle and Ryan’s Tuscan Hall wedding! Tuscan Hall is one of the venues on the Wizard Academy grounds. You might be familiar with Chapel Dulcinea, which is a really popular spot for smaller weddings and elopements… and it’s free! I’ve shot more weddings at Chapel Dulcinea than I can count, but here’s a recent one with Toas and Garrett. Anyway, maybe you’ve heard of Chapel Dulcinea, but there are actually two more wedding venues AND a place to stay overnight (The Wizard’s Guest House) on the property as well. I was super pleasantly surprised with how well Tuscan Hall photographs, and how pretty it is! It did get a little warm inside the venue in the evening (maybe some air conditioning issues? it was also VERY warm outside!), but that didn’t stop guests from having an amazing time and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The ceremony space was gorgeous and all around, super happy with what Tuscan Hall had to offer!
I actually met Michelle and Ryan for the very first time on their wedding day! I usually set up a Zoom or phone call with new clients, or do an engagement session or bridals, but Michelle and Ryan didn’t opt to do any of those things before the wedding. Sometimes that can make me a little nervous (are we going to vibe well?!), but Michelle and Ryan ended up being SO sweet. You can tell they adore each other and all of their guests had a great time.
