Congratulations, Oakley and Mong!

Y’all know I love a big crazy wedding, but I love intimate ones just as much! Oakley and Mong got married at Distillers Hall in August and it was absolutely perfect! In the morning, there were worries that rain was going to change the plans, but they ended up having crystal clear skies and a beautiful sunset. Their ceremony was right at golden hour and kind of gives me Fall vibes, even though it was mid summer.

This was my first time at Distillers Hall, and I’m a huge fan! Most of us have heard of Dripping Springs Distilling. Distillers Hall is their event space. I think they just started hosting weddings there in the last couple of years, and it’s a great venue! The groom and groomsmen have a cute little airstream to hang out in, and there’s a giant bridal suite house across the street for the ladies. Since this was a small dinner wedding, we didn’t utilize the main hall. But the ceremony spot was lovely, the lighting is great for portraits, and everything ran super smoothly!

Oakley and Mong (and their cute little son!) wanted a low stress wedding, and I just love what they did. Everything was casual and comfortable, while also being full of love and elegant touches. Instead of doing dances and a full reception, they drank yummy drinks, chatted, and played yard games. If I were to do an intimate wedding, this is exactly how I would go about it!
