Congratulations, Poppy and Chris!

I recently got to capture Poppy and Chris get married and it was such a fun day! These two were actually married about a year ago, but due to covid, held off on their full wedding. They had a very traditional church wedding at the BEAUTIFUL Central Christian Church near downtown. I don’t shoot a ton of weddings in churches, but I’m always super excited when I have one! So much lovely architecture and details, I’d love to bring someone back here for bridals.

After their church ceremony, we headed over to The Terrace at Highland Lakes. This was another great spot! This was my first time at the Terrace, and I’ll definitely be recommending it for intimate weddings. The outside terrace space would be a great setup for a ceremony, and the indoor space has beautiful views. This crew knew how to party!! Usually with weddings under 50 people, the vibe is more relaxed. Not here! They had so much fun dancing the night away, and Poppy and Chris were such sweet hosts.
