So one thing about me is… imma be really really late posting blogs. I love going through the photos and choosing my favorites. I love reliving the weddings. But I really struggle with what the heck I’m supposed to write about them. I tried using AI, but it really just didn’t feel authentic to me. This means I end up posting blogs WAY after the fact. Which, maybe is a benefit, because when I wait a whole year… I’m back posting seasonally appropriate content! The glass is half full, guys.

Here is the story from Lauren and Brian’s Woodbine Mansion wedding from last Spring! Woodbine Mansion is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Austin area, in the Round Rock area, in Texas, in life… It’s just such a beautiful and romantic space. The getting ready suites are so chef’s kiss. There are tons of lovely locations for photos at Woodbine. Every time I shoot a wedding (or engagement or bridal session) at Woodbine, I discover a new little nook to take photos in.

It’s been a damn hot minute since I posted a blog featuring Woodbine as the venue! I while back, I posted a bunch of them in a row. ALL The Totally Awesome and Well Thought Out Details

Now that you’re all caught up on your homework, let’s talk about the BEAUTIFUL nuptials of Lauren and Brian at Woodbine Mansion in June 2025. I love seeing the choices and priorities various couples choose, and Lauren and Brian clearly made budgetary choices that prioritized what they love. Instead of having a huge guest count, they smaller guest count and offered an amazing experience for them. They had a very lovely dinner catered by Root Cellar Catering Co and a fresh oyster bar during cocktail hour. They had stunning florals by Sunrise Petal Company (one of my favorites). And Middleton Events planned and ran the show flawlessly. And their cake, oh my god, their cake!! Cutest cake I ever did see, y’all. It was done by Olive + Aries and was so so so fun.

Lauren’s dresses were also so so so fun. It can be hard to mix fun with classy with fashionable, and Lauren somehow pulled that bold request off swimmingly. Her reception dress is on my personal inspo board. I’ve never seen feathers look so good. Her hair and makeup were also gorg (shout out to Beauty by Mayra!)
