you probably haven't planned a wedding before, so let me show you the ropes.

let's talk details.

Congratulations!! Weddings are such an exciting time in your life! I offer straight-forward photography packages and try to offer a wide range of prices and options. But more importantly, I'm here to offer you a great wedding photography experience.

There are an infinite number of amazing wedding photographers, but there are only a few that offer exceptional service, consistency, and professionalism (I assure you I’m super professional even though I sometimes spill coffee on myself and spend the majority of my time in pajama pants).

I’ll show up to your wedding or session prepared for any and all disasters, armed with a camera (well, two of them) and a plan. You’ll never have to worry about photos being delivered late and you’ll always get more than I’ve promised. YOU are the reason I’m able to have my dream job, and I’ll make sure to do every possible thing to take care of you on your wedding day.

Basically, I take your memories VERY seriously.

It all starts with an email! We'll go over some quick details and make sure I'm available. We'll also set up a short meeting.

[1] Email me

Let's set up a time to talk about your wedding! These days, Zoom is the name of the game.

[2] Let's Meet

You'll practice your modeling skills with an engagement or bridal session. Don't worry, I'll help you discover your inner Tyra.

[3] Dress Rehearsal

This part is super easy. I hear there's cake involved? Yeah, there's definitely cake. And probably booze.

[4] You'll Get Married!

You'll receive your online viewing and downloading gallery within 60 days of your wedding. Probably much sooner than that.

[5] Pictures in 60 Days

Prints are available directly from your online gallery. You can also create a favorites list for album creation.

"We just want pictures of our ceremony and some beautiful portraits."

It totally depends! I guarantee at least 50 images per hour of shooting, but some hours may have more or less. For example, if you have me for 8 hours, you'll be guaranteed 400 images, but may receive 30 images during one of the "getting ready" hours and 90 images from the ceremony. While 50 images per hour is the minimum I promise, couples typically receive anywhere from 550-1100 images. An intimate wedding with no bridal party, no bouquet toss, and very few family portraits would probably receive closer to 550 images, while a large wedding with a 20 person bridal party and a second shooter would receive closer to 1100. I deliver enough photos to fully capture your day!

I fully believe that your wedding day should be about enjoying time with your family and friends, celebrating your love. Beautiful photos are incredibly important, but I don't believe they should take precedence over the celebration at hand! My goal for most of the day is that you don't even notice I'm there. Besides posed photos (family formals, bridal party, newlywed photos), I try to let you do your own thing as much as possible. I may ask you to move to a spot with better lighting here and there, but that's about it. I want to document your day as it unfolds, not be the maestro orchestrating it.

Raw images are files directly from the camera, that have no editing done. They are typically very dull and low contrast, created that way so that they can provide a wide range of options when edited. While I do not deliver these rather bland raw files, I do deliver full resolution, professionally edited images. Believe me, this is what you actually want :).

Once we've decided we are a perfect match, we will sign a contract together and you will submit a 20% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining 80% is due one week before your wedding. All payments will be taken through our online workspace. Debit cards, all major credit cards, and ACH transfers are all accepted forms of payment.

If, for budgeting purposes, you would like to split up payments a different way, we totally can! The only rules are that 20% be the initial payment to secure your date, and we're paid in full one week before the wedding. If you'd like to make a payment plan, please let me know BEFORE we sign our contract, as these details will be laid out in it.

You will receive your wedding gallery within 60 days, typically much sooner than this. After your wedding, I try to send a sneak peak gallery over within three days (pending travel or life craziness). When I email you your sneak peak gallery, I'll also let you know how my editing queue looks and give you an estimated delivery date.

Engagement sessions are delivered within two weeks of the session, and typically take priority over weddings in my queue (since they're a lot faster!). If you're in a rush to order save the dates or invites, please let me know! I'll try to do what I can to speed up the process.

Probably not! I travel all over the Austin, hill country, Dallas, and Tyler areas. I typically don't charge a travel fee because I typically won't take on weddings that require extended travel (staying near the fam is important to me!). That isn't to say I'm not happy to make an exception here and there! Let me know where your wedding is and we'll see what we can work out :).

I process RAW image files by cropping, straightening, adjusting exposure, playing with lighting, making sure colors are corrected, and culling through the images to get rid of repeats and out of focus moments. After I process the files, I run them through a LIGHT skin softening software (not 90s style glamour shots, but a barely there enhancement). I also try to edit out distracting elements like people in the background, an oddly placed stop sign, etc., if I consider the photo an important moment.

I fix blemishes when I see them, but if you see something I do not, I'm absolutely happy to go back and fix them! I also offer LIGHT nip/tucking to up to 50 images.

Yep! Your photos will be delivered in a gallery with a print shop attached to it. While I do encourage you to use this shop (it's super convenient and I use professional labs that you may not have access to), you don't have to. I'm happy to give you tips on a few other print shops I like.

For albums, I 100% recommend using your gallery print shop. It's so convenient to make a favorites list and design it there, and the pricing is going to be similar if you do it elsewhere.

If I create an album design for you, I do require that album to be purchased through the shop.

My super number one tip... get a day of coordinator, if you're not already working with a planner! I'm in the process of finishing up engagement and wedding guides to assist you along the way, which will be ready for distribution by the end of 2020.

I have tons of vendor suggestions that I would love to share with you. Feel free to ask!
