On May 12th, I spent the day photographing Ariane and Jeffrey’s wedding at Canyonwood Ridge! I woke up to the morning (Mother’s Day) to my husband apologizing that I had to work on a day he thought I should be relaxing. But… I chose to work this day because there’s nothing I’d rather be doing! A wonderful couple, a wonderful venue, Melissa second shooting with me, and doing what I love? Like duh, of course I want to do that!

I first met Ariane and Jeff for their engagement shoot last Winter and it became clear that Ariane is a planner. She’s super organized but makes it somehow look effortless. I kept getting the feeling we were running behind, then I’d glance at my watch and see that we were way ahead of schedule.
